Despite skepticism surrounding Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix series With Love, Meghan, experts suggest that the show has the potential to become a major success.
According to Hello Magazine’s royal editor Emily Nash, the series—set to premiere on Netflix on March 4—could perform exceptionally well if it garners strong viewership. Nash pointed out that Meghan’s longstanding interest in lifestyle content could attract a sizeable audience.
“Let’s not forget, she (Meghan) had a huge following for The Tig, her Instagram account that did very well for her. And if people who followed her for that are still invested now, then there's potentially quite a big audience for it still,” Nash explained.
Before marrying Prince Harry and joining the royal family, Meghan actively shared lifestyle content through her blog The Tig, which covered topics like wellness, fashion, and travel. The blog amassed a loyal following but was shut down after she became a royal.
A source close to the Duke of Sussex revealed to Hello Magazine that Prince Harry is fully supportive of Meghan’s return to lifestyle media, even though he has yet to comment publicly.
“He's thrilled to see her embracing this again. It's something he admired about her from the beginning. For her, it's a return to something that’s always brought her joy,” the source shared.
As anticipation builds for With Love, Meghan, many are eager to see whether Meghan's return to the lifestyle space will resonate with audiences and deliver the success that experts predict.
PR analysts believe Meghan is repositioning herself in entertainment, with the Oscars being a prime opportunity. With her new lifestyle show with Netflix premiering within days, this could be the start to Meghan rebranding herself in her post-royal career.
