Prince Harry definitely got butterflies from Meghan Markle’s sweet Valentine’s Day tribute.

While he was in Canada for the 2025 Invictus Games, the Duke of Sussex spoke to US Weekly about the event’s impact, which he launched in 2014.

In the interview, which was published two weeks later on February 26, Harry finally gave his thoughts on Meghan’s sweet Valentine’s Day Instagram post.

“The Instagram shoutout was very sweet and much appreciated!” he told the outlet.

Meghan’s post, shared after her return to the US while Harry was still in Canada, featured a photo of them kissing.

“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine,” she wrote. She praised his work with Invictus, calling him a source of “healing and resilience” for veterans and their families.

She ended with a personal touch: “My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.”

It wasn’t her only nod of support. The day before, the Duchess of Sussex posted a photo of Invictus merch at home, writing, “A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones! Cheering you on from home!”

In another post, she cheered on Prince Harry as he closed out the ceremony.

Though Meghan couldn’t stay for the entire games, Harry made it clear that she remains a big part of the Invictus community.

He told US Weekly, “My wife has been part of this community since shortly after the Orlando Games in 2016 and has loved every minute of it.”
