Last night, fans reluctantly bid their farewells to their favorite albeit dysfunctional set of siblings with the series finale of Succession.

HBO’s head of drama Francesca Orsi refuted any speculations about a potential spinoff for the show, confirming with Deadline that it was the last of the elite quartet that the viewers got to see.

"No, not at this point now," she said. "I’ll never say never but my instinct and based on a number of conversations about the evolution of Succession and these characters, at this stage, there is no intention of spinning any one character off."

However, she teased that the series creator Jesse Armstrong might come up with another similar show in the future, however, noted that it will be "entirely original."

"Whether it’s based on IP or not, I’m not sure, but it will be a new show, a new idea entirely," shared Orsi.

She also expressed her "admiration, respect, and love" for Armstrong, hoping to see more of his work in the future make a home at HBO.

Succession approached its imminent end with the final episode of Season 4, as Tom Wambsgans, played by Matthew Macfadyen, took over the reins of Waystar RoyCo and left Kendall Roy, played by Jeremy Strong, in devastation and disbelief.
