Arnold Schwarzenegger, 75, expressed his admiration for fellow actor Bruce Willis, 68, who made the decision to step away from Hollywood due to his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. 

Schwarzenegger sang praises for Willis, recognizing his talent and commending his contributions to the film industry.

The seasoned actor's heartfelt words shed light on his appreciation for Willis and his understanding of the challenges that come with a dementia diagnosis. 

"I think that he's fantastic," Schwarzenegger told the outlet. 

"He ... is a huge, huge star. And I think that he will always be remembered as a great, great star, and a kind man."

Acknowledging Bruce Willis' decision to retire "under his circumstances, health-wise," Arnold provided a final comment related to his fellow movie star. 

Having shared the screen with Willis in the Expendables franchise and co-founded the Planet Hollywood restaurant franchise alongside Sylvester Stallone,

He expressed his understanding of Willis' choice.

In February, Emma Heming Willis, the wife of Bruce Willis, revealed that the actor has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. 

Providing an update on his condition, she shared that his health has deteriorated since his family initially disclosed his aphasia diagnosis in 2022. 

Emma expressed the unfortunate reality that challenges with communication are just one of the symptoms that Bruce is confronting due to the disease. 

Despite the difficulties they face, she expressed a sense of relief in finally receiving a clear diagnosis. 

Bruce's three eldest children—Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis—along with his ex-wife, Demi Moore, also shared posts acknowledging the diagnosis news.
