Elton John’s final Houston concert cancelled, Astros’ playoff run took the slot

Elton John’s final Houston concert got canceled.

Although Houston adores its baseball club, what was intended to be Elton John's final show in Houston was canceled as a result of their triumph in the postseason.

The icon's scheduled performance at Minute Maid Park on November 4 has been canceled, according to Astros executives, and it won't be rescheduled. It was a stop on John's farewell tour, "Farewell Yellow Brick Road."

The team stated on its website that the change was necessary "due to the altered 2022 MLB Postseason schedule."

Houston won on Saturday in Seattle in extra innings to go to the American League Championship Series. You guessed it, November 4 is the date for a potential Game 6 of the World Series in Houston if the Astros win the ALCS.

The Astros announced that anyone who purchased tickets will automatically receive refunds, which must be given out before November 18. Contact [email protected] if you have any more queries for ticket buyers.
