'Now You See Me 3’ takes director Ruben Fleischer on board

'Zombieland' director on board for 'Now You See Me 3'

Ruben Fleischer has gotten on board with the third installment of Lionsgate's Now You See Me.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Zombieland and Uncharted director, Ruben Fleischer has been confirmed to helm Now You See Me 3.

The actors of Ruben Fleischer's Zombieland Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman, starred in the first installment of the franchise which launched in 2013.

Seth Grahame-Smith who also penned the script of The Lego Batman and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, is also going to serve as a screenwriter, for Now You See Mee 3.

The original movie was directed by Louis Leterrier and John M. Chu directed the 2016 sequel, which combined made $687 million.

Fleischer said in a statement, "There are three things in this world I absolutely love, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and magic. To have the chance to work with these two talented actors, as well as rest of the incredible cast of the Now You See Me movies is a dream come true."

The upcoming installment will reunite old characters as well as introduce a new line of players.
