Johnny Depp gears up for controversial role in forthcoming historical drama

Star Johnny Depp will portray the role of French King Louis in the upcoming historical  production which is slated to shoot this summer, as per reports.

For now, the title and narrative of the film is being kept under wraps.

The shooting of the movie is set to take place in Paris for a span of 3 months at the Versailles Palace.

King Louis ruled for 59 years who died as an unpopular monarch. 

Depp will need to brush up on his French for this role which requires immense sweat as it is a challenging one. 

Fans consider Depp as the best choice for this character. 

Despite staying in France for years the actor still possesses a strong American accent.

Meanwhile, the American star has been accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife Amber Heard and fell out of favour in Hollywood after the allegations.
