Expert slams ‘The Crown’, says ‘the series was anti royal’

On Sunday, TV show The Crown won the Emmy award for the year’s best drama series. However, a royal biographer commented about the awards ceremony and said that the series was anti royal.

She said, "The series was anti royal and wrongly showed them as clumsy hopeless individuals."

The show received criticism especially after the last season which showed late Princess Diana being treated poorly by senior members of royal family,

Moreover, last year Britain’s culture minister suggested disclaimers to be added at start of episodes of the hit show to make it clear that it’s work of fiction but Netflix rejected the request.
