The 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, hosted by Sheryl Underwood, aired on Friday night on CBS and Paramount+.
The show presenters including Kelly Ripa, Ryan Seacrest and Al Roker announced the winners in more than 40 categories and ABC’s General Hospital led the soap opera pack with six total wins, including for Outstanding Drama Series. Late TV personalities Alex Trebek, Regis Philbin and Larry King were also honored during the show.
