The monarch and husband were vaccinated under the watch of their household doctor at Windsor Castle.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have finally received their coronavirus vaccine. 

Revealed through a Buckingham Palace spokesperson, on Saturday, "The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh have today received Covid-19 vaccinations."

The Queen, 94, and husband, 99, were vaccinated under the watch of their household doctor at Windsor Castle.

The news comes right after Queen's motivating New Year speech where she is looking forward to 'better days.' 

"We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again," her message read on the royal family's social media." announced thee Queen
