Prince William laid bare his standpoint regarding Prince Harry joining the royal fold again amid King Charles's health crisis following a series of messy allegations exchanged among the family members.

The Sunday Express reported on Saturday that the Prince of Wales "has enough on his plate" and won’t allow the Duke of Sussex to take the helm as their father battles with a form of cancer.

"There's no way that the Prince of Wales will wear it. Harry may well want to step back into a royal role, but as far as his brother is concerned, nothing has changed," a source told the publication.

Reflecting on the responsibilities the future king is taking care of, the insider continued, "Prince William has enough on his plate at the moment. His father is being treated for cancer, and his wife is recovering from abdominal surgery."

It is believed that after several "warm exchanges" with his father, Harry, 39, told his friends that he would be stepping in again to take up royal duties following the king’s cancer diagnosis.

That means William, 41, and Harry have to put their differences aside, however, the source vehemently dismissed the idea, saying, "He [William] simply doesn't have the bandwidth for this."

This revelation from insiders came on the heels of a recent interview of the Spare author with Good Morning America, where he extended a very public olive branch to his estranged family in the UK.

"I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that," he told Will Reeve.
