Kim Kardashian is opening up about one Met Gala choice she still wishes had gone differently.
In Thursday, May 8, TikTok post, the businesswoman candidly discussed the styling regrets behind her widely discussed 2022 Met Gala transformation.
She said to hairstylist Chris Appleton while revisiting the look, “It was all about the hair. I will fight you on that ‘til the day I die.”
The reality star admitted she still thinks about the styling decision regularly, blaming the rushed process for missing what she now believes could have been a more memorable moment.
“You were doing every family member. We weren’t focused. Everyone was telling me, ‘Don’t do Marilyn hair because you’ll look like a wax figure of hers.’ Everyone fucked up here, let’s just say that.”
After reviewing photos of Monroe’s signature curls, the SKIMS founder confessed the hairstyle remains her biggest fashion regret, saying, “That would have been iconic.”
Meanwhile, the 45-year-old, who instead wore a sleek blonde bun, previously revealed the intense bleaching process caused major damage to her hair.
Moreover, she calls the decision her “biggest regret in life.”
However, Appleton, known for creating some of Kardashian’s most memorable beauty moments, has spoken openly in past interviews about the pressure of dressing high profile clients for the Met Gala, describing it as one of the most demanding events of his career.
