Met Gala, which is a high-profile fashion show of celebrities or in other words, you can call it a costume party, has viewers excited with new looks.
Each year, some of the Hollywood’s biggest names comes together and show off their artistic vision and what they chose to represent in front of tons of cameras from different outlets.
Turning towards this year’s Met Gala, which took place on Monday, May 4th and was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit.
The 2026 brought us some of the very “boring” costumes this year but let’s appreciate the very few outfits which held the artistic vision and stunned at the red carpet.
Heidi Klum
As per the reports, the renowned model, who has headlined reality shows like America's Got Talent and Making the Cut, understood the assignment.
Heidi appeared as a “living sculpture” in a custom foam and latex gown by Mike Marino.
Sabrina Carpenter
The Manchild hitmaker was also present with her unique look, which received tons of praises by fans, saying she “ate” the look.
The singer wore a outfit made from strips of actual black-and-white film from the 1954 movie Sabrina custom-made by Dior’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson.

The chart-topping songstress made a stunning appearance as she revealed her initial inspiration for the gown was the animal Peacock.
The lady in silver and blue wore custom Valentino ensemble by Alessandro Michele.
Emma Chamberlain
The American model and influencer donned custom Mugler gown by creative director Miguel Castro Freitas.
The gorgeous dress was hand-painted by artist Anna Deller-Yee and inspired by Van Gogh and Edvard Munch’s famous oil paintings.
Chase Infiniti
The One Battle After Another actress rocked the look which was mimicked by famous ancient Greek statue, the Venus de Milo.
The masterpiece by Thom Browne trompe l'oeil is said to feature 600 different colors layered to imitate the texture of brushstrokes on a canvas.

The queen of pop donned a literal recreation of British-Mexican surrealist Leonora Carrington’s 1945 painting, The Temptation of St. Anthony Fragment II made by Saint Laurent’s creative designer, Anthony Vaccarello.

The Singaporean fashion designer and former model stunned in a hand-sculpted, metallic silver bodice, from her own Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

The member of girl group, BLACKPINK, earned praised as she wore custom couture creation by Hong Kong-born designer Robert Wun.
The unique outfit was embroidered with 66,960 Swarovski crystals.

The Olympic champion received the title of “most hypnotic” as she was described as she is “literally” floating on the red carpet.
The short frock was by Dutch visionary Iris van Herpen and contemporary artist duo A.A.Murakami.
