Colman Domingo embraces change to stay on top in brutal industry

Colman Domingo is proving that age really is just a number, and he’s never felt better.

The 56-year-old Euphoria star has revealed he’s feeling “sexier” and “more vibrant” than ever after shedding 20lbs in a bid to boost his health and longevity in the spotlight. 

Speaking candidly, Domingo admitted he noticed changes in his body that pushed him to rethink his lifestyle.

“I physically looked older, heavier… and I thought, ‘Hang on, something needs to shift,’” he shared. 

The actor overhauled his eating and sleeping habits, not to chase youth, but to feel stronger and maintain his edge in a competitive industry. 

Fans are saying he looks years younger though Domingo insists it’s all about being healthier, not turning back time.

But it’s not just his physique turning heads. 

The Hollywood favourite also had fans buzzing when he embraced full glam drag in Sabrina Carpenter’s music video inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show. 

And he didn’t hold back.

“I told her, ‘Make me your fantasy — highest heels, tightest corset, let’s go!’” he laughed, calling the shoot one of the most fun experiences he’s had in years.

Not everyone was cheering, though. 

When online trolls criticised his bold look, Domingo shut them down with style, reminding critics that acting is all about transformation. 

Quoting drag legend RuPaul, he added: “We are born naked and everything else is drag.”
