Lily Collins has revealed that motherhood has completely changed her wardrobe and her shoe collection.
The 37-year-old actress welcomed her first child, daughter Tove, via surrogate last year with husband Charlie McDowell.
Now, the Emily in Paris star is embracing a far more practical approach to dressing.
Notably, she disclosed that she has replaced her sky-high heels with comfy ballet flats and sneakers.
Speaking to Marie Claire, Lily admitted: “I’m probably more geared towards understated, comfortable chic.
Being a mum now I’m definitely more functional. I wear heels a lot less – now I’m usually in ballet flats or sneakers.”
The Love, Rosie actress also shared her “everyday outfit formula”, which centres on classic, effortless pieces.
“Oversized blazer, a great pair of jeans (mostly high-waisted), a button-down tee in light blue or white.
A comfy cropped sweater and a solid sneaker or a ballet flat with an oversized bag to fit everything in for when I’m not wearing it,” she explained.
Lily’s beauty routine has also evolved since becoming a parent.
The Mirror Mirror star revealed she no longer blow-dries her chic bob haircut, preferring to air dry for a low-maintenance.
She also swears by French pharmacy staples Avene Cicalfate and La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume, which she uses herself and even on Tove.
