Kim Kardashian channels old Hollywood with striking new hairstyle

Kim Kardashian has turned heads once again after unveiling a striking new summer makeover and fans are absolutely obsessed.

The 45-year-old reality superstar showed off a fresh platinum blonde bob on Saturday via Instagram, posting a series of glam snaps that instantly sent social media into overdrive. 

The sleek new style, inspired by Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, marked a dramatic shift from her usual long brunette locks and gave her a full-on old Hollywood glow-up.

In the photos, Kim could be seen rocking the tousled bob both indoors and out, including shots of her stepping out in Beverly Hills the day before. 

The SKIMS founder was dressed in a chic, fitted trench coat which she completed with oversized wraparound sunglasses, a Gucci handbag and matching heels.

She was serving effortless luxury with every step.

Unsurprisingly, the Kardashian inner circle wasted no time reacting. 

Sister Khloé Kardashian led the praise with a fired-up comment: “Sexy time!!!! Super into this.” 

Meanwhile, actress Niecy Nash dropped a string of heart-eye emojis, and La La Anthony simply wrote, “Love this.”

This isn’t Kim’s first brush with blonde ambition or Marilyn-inspired fashion moments. 

For the unversed, she famously channelled the screen legend at the 2022 Met Gala, wearing Monroe’s iconic “Happy Birthday Mr President” gown, a look that sparked global debate and plenty of controversy at the time.

More recently, she has admitted she still thinks about that Met Gala transformation, even joking about behind-the-scenes chaos with her glam team in a TikTok video.
