Billie Eilish made a striking appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of her 3D concert film Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour.
On Wednesday, May 7, at Westwood’s Village Theatre, the Grammy winner appeared in a casual layered outfit, styling a green Ralph Lauren polo over a white shirt with a black skirt, red socks, lace-up heels, and silver accessories.
As reported by Daily Mail, during her chat with Elle, she shared that her preference for oversized clothing helps her feel comfortable in both her body and personal identity.
“I had a really, really toxic relationship with my body. I had a lot of eating issues. I remember putting on, like, a big shirt and the relief that I felt,” she noted.
Moreover, she added, “This is the misogyny that we all have within us…which is that I didn't want to be seen as feminine, and therefore weak. It's not right. I've found a good way of not feeling like that.”
The premiere also marked a major milestone for the Happier Than Ever singer as she co-directed the concert film with James Cameron, ahead of its May 8 release.
Meanwhile, she made her red carpet appearance alongside boyfriend Nat Wolff in their first public outing as a couple.
