Deepika Padukone has made the announcement of her second pregnancy with better half Ranveer Singh.
On Sunday, April 19, the couple revealed the happy update via a joint Instagram post for their admirers.
In the photo, their daughter Dua is seen with a pregnancy test kit, quietly pointing to the family’s new chapter.
Along with the image of their little bundle of joy, the heartwarming post carried two evil eye emojis in the caption.
The post quickly crossed 1.4 million likes in an hour and received touching messages from online admirers who appreciated the understated update of their growing family.
One fan penned, "Congratulations (a series of red heart emojis)."

For the unfamiliar, the couple exchanged vows in November 2018 in Italy and welcomed their first child, Dua, in September 2024.
On the work front, Deepika is gearing up for Siddharth Anand’s King, which features Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Arshad Warsi, and is set to release in theatres on December 24, 2026. She also has Atlee’s Raka in the pipeline with Allu Arjun.
However, Ranveer Singh is celebrating the success of his recent release Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which has reportedly earned over ₹1,700 crore globally, including ₹1,000 crore in India. He is next set to star in Jay Mehta’s Pralay.
