Meryl Streep recently revealed if she’s ever going to write a tell-all memoir in her life.
The Oscar winner was in conversation with Andy Cohen for SiriusXM’s Front Row alongside her The Devil Wears Prada 2 costars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, discussing their highly anticipated sequel.
During the interview, Andy asked Meryl, “Will we ever get a memoir from you?”
To this, the Mamma Mia! actress instantly replied, “Nope, nope”.
Interestingly, a number of authors wrote on Meryl’s life but she never sat down to write an account of her life.
“Okay, and you answer that very quickly,” remarked the host while Meryl jokingly added, “Too boring. Seriously.”
The It’s Complicated actress however confessed that she did enjoy other celebrity memoirs, including Barbra Streisand’s My Name Is Barbra.
“What am I, nuts? I listened to it, which was the only way,” stated the 74-year-old.
Elsewhere in SiriusXM's Front Row, Meryl talked about auctioning off her costumes in the movie, her character's inspiration was Anna Wintour, and even thinking about making a comeback to Broadway along with Martin Short as she last appeared in 1977.
Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada 2 will release in theatres on May 1.
Moreover, Meryl will be seen in the upcoming Netflix limited series, The Corrections.
