Cher ‘trying to adjust’ after bombshell family revelation

Pop icon Cher is said to be coming to terms with a jaw-dropping family revelation, that she may have a secret teenage granddaughter.

The 79-year-old superstar was reportedly left “speechless” after being contacted about a 15-year-old girl believed to be the daughter of her son Elijah Blue Allman. 

Notablly, the claim comes from Kayti Edwards, who alleges she shares a daughter, Ever, with Elijah after a brief relationship back in 2010.

Speaking to The Sun, Kayti claimed Elijah “never wanted to be a parent”, and said the existence of the child only surfaced within the family after he allegedly revealed it during a drug overdose in 2021, sparking whispers behind closed doors.

According to Kayti, Cher reached out last year to ask if the rumours were true. 

“When she heard the news, she was speechless,” she said.

Despite the shock, the songstress is said to have since met the teenager, with Kayti describing a surprisingly warm encounter. 

“She was lovely and kind — we had dinner, chatted, and even played in the pool,” she claimed, adding that Cher showed Ever items from her iconic wardrobe and spoke to her about school and life.

Still, insiders suggest the situation remains delicate. 

“It’s an adjustment,” Kayti admitted, insisting she is not forcing any relationship.

The bombshell comes amid growing concerns for Elijah’s wellbeing. 

Strong Enough hitmaker has reportedly filed for a temporary conservatorship, claiming her son is struggling with serious mental health and addiction issues and is unable to manage his finances.
