Olivia Rodrigo surprised fans with an unexpected performance at the 2026 Coachella.
The Déjà vu singer joined Addison Rae on-stage to perform her new single Drop Dead and Rae’s Headphones On.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Addison while singing her new song, sang the lyric, “I compare myself to the new It Girl,” Rodrigo stepped out and joined her, earning an applause from Indio, California crowd.
Following that performance, the Driver’s Licence hitmaker then debuted her new single Drop Dead.
Rae traded lines with Rodrigo on the song’s verses, while both pop stars jumped around the stage to hype the crowd up for the song.
The track is the first single to be released from Vampire singer’s upcoming third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
It was released on Friday, with the music video filmed in Palace of Versailles.
Previously, in an interview with the British Vogue, discussing about her album, Rodrigo said, “I realized all my favourite romantic love songs were beautiful because they had a tinge of fear or yearning in them.”
She also revealed the collection is full of “sad love songs.”
You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is set release on June 12.
