Olivia Rodrigo dishes how she feels about new single ‘drop dead’

Olivia Rodrigo has officially kicked off a new era with her first single off of her upcoming third studio album.

The Driver’s License singer released Drop Dead which contains a pretty telling clue that it is about her reported ex-boyfriend Louis Partridge since she sings about their zodiac signs.

In the music video the 23-year-old wanders through the Palace of Versailles, running from room to room before strapping on a pink guitar and rocking out to the track.

Soon after dropping the music video, Olivia took to Instagram to share how the song made her feel and how she hopes her fans receive it.

In the caption she wrote, “drop dead is out now!!!! I love this song so much!!! it’s the first chapter in the story of ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’ and it makes me wanna skip around and roll the windows down and make out!”

“I was lucky enough to film the music video at the palace of Versailles a few months ago with the wonderful @petrafcollins and I’m so stoked with how it turned out. I hope you guys love it as much as I do xoxoxoxo,” Olivia added.

The singer shared snaps and clips from the music video with the lyrics being dreamy and gushing about a crush she had.
