Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans are considering a follow-up to their cult comedy White Chicks.
However, the duo indicated that this follow-up depends on the success of Scary Movie 6.
"I'll put it this way; we're game," Marlon told Entertainment Tonight.
Shawn replied that a sequel "can happen" provided that if audiences turn up to watch Scary Movie 6, whose release is June 5.
The first White Chicks, in 2004, was based on two FBI agents impersonating rich white socialites.
The movie earned over 110 million dollars in theatres across the globe and has become a perennial of early 2000s studio comedy, with a cult following.
The Wayans brothers have picked up their Scary Movie series with the sixth instalment after missing the last three movies.
Their co-written Scary Movie, in turn, ushered in a series of successful parodies that spawned several sequels.
Scary Movie 6 will have both returning and new cast members in the franchise as it attempts to reconnect with viewers.
Alongside White Chicks, Marlon has also hinted that he would like to remake the idea of Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.
The future of White Chicks 2, at least, seems to be bound to the success of Scary Movie 6 at the box office.
The undecided sequel after almost two decades has left fans hanging, with no plot details revealed yet.
