Pedro Pascal, who earned his name in Hollywood after two decades, recently revealed that he is grateful for his age and the experience he has gained.

Talking to Variety about the unexpected fame, he said, “I think there are two ways of looking at it,“

As per the 51-year-old’s opinion, he thinks that since he aged well, he was able to experience the highs and the lows differently than the young stars.

He said, “There’s a universal feeling of imposter syndrome that we all can experience when we’re being unkind to ourselves,”

He added, “I’m incredibly grateful for having been a fully developed character before experiencing any kind of large-scale exposure, I’m kind of out of the oven, already baked.”

Pedro also looked back on the time when he received recognition, “I was 38 years old when I got the part of Oberyn Martell,”

Notably, the actor worked for 20 years in Hollywood as a struggling actor with small, one-off roles in shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Good Wife, NYPD Blue, and Law & Order.

The Games of Thrones star used to support himself while working as a waiter before his major breakthrough happened after he was cast as the main lead in the Netflix series, Narcos.

It is to be noted that now Pedro is working on multiple big projects, which will be released in upcoming years.
