Barbie Ferreira and Charli xcx set to star together in the new film ‘Faces of Death’
Barbie Ferreira gushes about her friendship long-time pal, Charli xcx.
The duo has been friends for a very long time, reportedly since 2021.
The Euphoria star and Brat singer are set to star in upcoming horror film, Faces of Death.
In an interview with the People magazine, Ferreira described working with her friend as “really cool” and an honour, noting but deep admiration for each other despite working in very different fields.
Ferreira, who stars as lead character Margot in the film, revealed that she has been a huge fan of Charli xcx for years.
“I love Charli so much. We've been friends for a very long time, so it was just really cool to work with a friend who I admire and I've always been a huge fan of her music,” she said.
She has attended numerous concerts, and has even brought her mother and cast mates from other films to Montreal for Charli’s concerts.
“I'm used to going to her concerts with my friends and kind of being in her element,” she said.
The upcoming film is set to be Charli’s debut role. The filming began in 2023, just before Charli’s album Brat propelled her to new heights of fame.
Ferreira called it exciting time to witness her friend “at the precipice of this huge moment.”
The Faces of Death is slated for release on April 10.
