Jon Hamm has stirred up a storm by suggesting a dose of reality TV chaos could take his hit series to the next level.
The 55-year-old actor revealed he’d love to bring some familiar faces from The Real Housewives of New York City into his drama Your Friends and Neighbors, and he’s not shy about who’s top of his wishlist.
The former Mad Men leading man, who reprises his role as troubled hedge fund manager Andrew “Coop” Cooper, joked that the show needs to go “heavy on the crazy.”
He named Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer as perfect picks to shake things up.
“We want somebody crazy in there to stir things up,” he teased, and Sonja was quick to fire back online: “We would love to shake things up for YOU!”
The buzz comes as the new season introduces a wildcard neighbour played by James Marsden, whose character throws Coop’s already messy life into further disarray.
The series follows Coop’s desperate turn to crime after losing everything and things are only set to spiral further.
Baby Driver actor hinted the drama will become even more tangled, saying his character faces increasingly “complicated and convoluted” situations as the story unfolds, thanks in part to Marsden’s “agent of chaos” role.
Off-screen, Jon’s love for reality TV is no secret.
He’s previously dished on Bravo favourites and even weighed in on relationships involving stars like Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover.
