Harrison Ford, who is known for his role in Indiana Jones, was reduced to tears as he accepted the lifetime achievement honours at the SAG Awards.
The 83-year-old actor was called on-stage to accept the award where he decided to share words of wisdom with the Hollywood industry.
Harrison, who has established a career spanning over six decades, admitted that the entertainers are “lucky” if they make entertainment and art at the “same time.”
He added that people are “really fortunate” if they are able to make “a living off” it as well. However, the business comes with “responsibility to support each other, lift others” at times.
The Blade Runner star highlighted that they are paving way for “the next kid, the next lost boy who’s looking for a place to belong” by keeping “the door open.”
Towards the end, Harrison expressed his gratitude and shared that he is a “lucky guy” as he was able to find his people.
The Hollywood A-list actor noted in his acceptance speech, “Lucky to have work that challenges me” and “still be doing it.”
This comes as his famous movies Indiana Jones, where he portrayed iconic archaeologist, has returned to Disney+ on January 1, 2026.
Harrison’s titular character in the franchise was defining in his acting career.
