Hollywood industry is lamenting the loss of Gwen Farrell Adair, best known for acting in television series M*A*S*H as she passed away at the age of 94.

On Thursday, April 30, the star departed of natural causes in Sherman Oaks, California.

The statement read, "Gwen was so much more to her family. She was a grandmother, a guiding light, and a steady source of love and wisdom." 

"She had a way of making those around her feel supported, understood, and cared for without needing recognition," they noted.

"Her passing leaves a deep void in our hearts, one that cannot be filled," the family grieved.

Continuing, "We will miss her voice, her strength, and the quiet comfort she brought into our lives."

The star debuted her view in M*A*S*H, Farrell’s path through cinema stretched long past its start. 

On the eleven seasons, the veteran star was present multiple times, stepping into the series on and off as a nurse.

For those unversed, the famous sitcom M*A*S*H aired from 1972 to 1983, becoming a standout hit in TV history. 

Her career spanned over five decades including Coffy, following Earthquake and Billy Jack Goes to Washington marking another breakthrough along the way. 

It is pertinent to mention that each role by the versatile actress tagged behind the last like footprints across time.

Moreover, in 1970 she made history by being the first licensed boxing referee women as per TMZ and Deadline.  

Farrell is survived by her kids, and grandchildren.
