Pamela Anderson recently expresses her disinterest for not returning to upcoming reboot of Baywatch.
According to Radar Online, the new Fox show’s filming is currently underway in California for the 2026–2027 season.
However, a source tells the outlet, “Pamela was approached and she passed. She's done with that chapter.”
The actress is now “focused on where she's going – not where she's been,” explains an insider.
“That era doesn't define her anymore,” points out a source.
They mention that show’s producers are aiming to introduce a fresh cast and a modern take to the storyline will eventually bring the franchise into a new era.
The original Baywatch, which ran from 1989 to 2001, became one of the most-watched TV series across the globe.
Interestingly, the show also launched Pamela as well as her co-stars including David Hasselhoff (Mitch Buchannon) and Carmen Electra (Lani McKenzie).
There are speculations around possible cameo appearances from original cast members on the upcoming show.
Meanwhile, Pamela’s stance is clear, with some sources suggesting she has “no intention” of reprising her role in the future.
