Ryan Gosling's upcoming film Project Hail Mary received its first verdict from Josh Gad.
While the film is still a month away from being released in cinemas, the Frozen star has nothing but raving reviews for the film.
Taking to his Instagram he uploaded a picture of theatre screen featuring the poster of the movie.
In the caption he wrote, "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the first masterpiece of 2026."
Left in awe by the project he called "a PERFECT adaptation of a book I thought was impossible to adapt."
The Beauty and the Beast actor went on to express his love for the novel, of the same name written by Andy Weir, and revealed that the motion picture matches it "pound for pound."
Gad went to laud Gosling's performance in it and said the film will "restore your faith in humanity and the power of love and courage."
Project Hail Marry follows Ryland Grace, a middle school science teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship with no memory of who he is or why he’s there.
As his memories slowly return, he realizes he’s humanity’s last hope on a desperate mission on Earth from mysterious substance that’s causing sun to dim.
In addition to Gosling, the film stars Sandra Huller, Ken Leung, Milana Vayntrub, Lionel Boyce, James Ortiz and Priya Kansara.
Project Hail Marry is slated for release on March 20, 2026.
