Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo are set to grace the silver screen, but not for Marvel film instead for a crime thriller, Crime 101.
Hemsworth is starring as the lead, a notorious thief named Mike Davis, infamous for stealing areas along Los Angeles 101 highway. Meanwhile, Ruffalo's Lou Lubesnick believes he has tracked the culprit’s pattern and begins following the clues.
In an interview with the Pinkvilla, the Thor actor shared his thoughts on meeting up with filmmaker Bart Layton and what it was like to go through the film’s script.
He admitted that loved the film script because it felt like "a real throwback to '90s thrillers."
The Extraction star further explained that it had a "sort of nostalgia to the story that you don’t see too much these days."
Reflecting on his experience of working with the director, he added that he has seen his work and loved American Animals.
Recalling his first meeting, Hemsworth was left impressed by not only the "incredibly compelling script" but also the "brilliant vision for the film."
In addition to Hemsworth and Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Nick Nolte, and Halle Berry also star in the film.
Crime 101 is slated for release on February 13.
