Kaite Leung opened up about how going in blind for Bridgerton gave her advantage.
The Harry Potter alum, made her Regency debut in upcoming season 4 as Lady Araminta, the evil stepmother in the Cinderella-like story that centres Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie (Yerin Ha).
Leung in conversation with People magazine, revealed that she "hadn’t watched the show" before she got the part.
However, her being oblivious to the series came in handy when she had a run-in with one of her castmates.
She said that while she was watching the first season and getting the part she went for fittings.
In the changing room she met Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), however, the Arcane actress had no idea what character she was playing.
When the Grow actress asked Leung if she was nervous, the Scottish star replied "No, not nervous."
Later on when she learned who Rosheuvel was playing in the series, the 38-years-old artists said, "I was really glad that I hadn’t seen [the show] yet, because otherwise I would've been nervous and star struck, and she's so chill."
Bridgerton season 4 will see the return of, Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Hannah Dodd, Claudia Jessie, Ruth Gemmell and Simone Ashley.
Part one of Bridgerton will premiere on Netflix on January 29, followed by part 2 on February 26.
