Jenny Slate breaks silence, backs Blake Lively in Baldoni feud

Jenny Slate has voiced her stance over the feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

According to a new report, Slate has publicly sided in support of Blake Lively's lawsuit against the It Ends With Us director.

Slate noted in a statement, “As Blake Lively's castmate and friend, I voice my support as she takes action against those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on her reputation."

She marked Blake as a leader, loyal friend, and trusted source of emotional support for her and so many who know and love her.

The 43-year-old actress proceeded to commend Lively, who has been brave in the legal battle.

She described the allegations revealed in the case as she stands firmly by Lively during the legal battle.

“What has been revealed about the attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing, and wholly threatening. I commend my friend, I admire her bravery, and I stand by her side,” she stated.

As fans will know, Slate played the onscreen sister of Baldoni in the 2024 film It Ends With Us, which he also directed.

However, she had earlier informed her team that she did not want to be involved in any form of publicity with Baldoni, and the shoot is legitimately gross and disturbing.

Ahead of a summary judgment hearing in Lively’s ongoing case, Slate's text messages from June 2023 were unsealed.

Baldoni refused the charges and thereafter initiated a cross complaint that was denied last June.
