Zayn Malik kickstarts residency amid health issues: 'No cancellation'

Zayn Malik, who was previously part of One Direction, proved his fans are above all as he decided to avoid postponing residency.

The 33-year-old singer made a concerning announcement after taking the stage on January 20, 2026.

In one of the circulating videos, the Pillowtalk hitmaker revealed that his “throat’s a bit dry, but we’re here. No cancellation.”

The musician told his fans about fighting a "sinus infection" that is affecting his throat but is not holding him back from putting a show.

Zayn, returning nearly a year after his solo tour, requested the cheering crowd to sing as loud as they want before starting a new song.

While the update concerned fans, many were of the opinion that the Night Changes crooner is a “real one.”

A fan pointed out that the musician “looks so good and the crowd is giving.” For the special evening, Zayn donned a gold-embodied jacket and sported a buzz cut.

He has officially started the seven-night residency that will wrap up with his last performance on January 31, 2026. Here’s the full setlist for the nights:
