Stranger Things has become a global phenomenon as the entire world looks up to finale that will wrap the sci-fi story once and for all.

While the obsession with the story continues, it appears fans think this volume was just not it as it brought the team back together.

After the new part came out, the online community began debating about Duffer Brother’s creation and the story writing in general.

As Max made it out alive, Jonathan and Nancy figured out their relationship flaw, the viewers believe something was missing.

According to one of the Instagram users, the part was quality work overall but “felt like a fanfiction a lot of the time” as no one dies and everyone is back together.

Another netizen felt that the adults in the season were deliberately “sidelined,” calling Hopper & Joyce “the hearts of the show.”

Comparing with the previous seasons’ cliff hanger, a fan was of the opinion that the new instalment felt “so distant.”

To everyone’s surprise, Jamie Campbell Bower also broke his silence when an admirer poked fun at his antagonist’s repeated: “We can begin,” asking Vecna “to wrap this sh*t up.”

The 37-year-old actor playfully replied on X: “Babe I’m trying!”

When will the last episode of Stranger Things come out?

However, the narrative can still shift as the last episode will air on New Year’s Eve. Many actors from the show have already warned fans of a devastated ending.
