Larry David’s formerly referenced script Prognosis: Negative has leaked online, with the plot revolving around a noncommittal man that reunites with his dying ex.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm creator did not shy away from the existence of the unmade film and it even was a recurring joke in Seinfeld.

Recently, a 1983 draft of the screenplay has been uploaded on the internet by a Reddit user although it is unclear how it was obtained in the first place.

The script follows a man by the name of Leo Black, who has commitment issues, and decides to rekindle his relationship with an ex he finds out is dying.

In an interview with The New York Times, Robert B. Weide, a producer on one of Larry’s shows said Prognosis: Negative was “probably the funniest script that I read during my tenure there.”

Robert took the script to a Hollywood agency but its partners, Jack Rollins, Larry Brezner, Buddy Morra and Charles Joffe, noted that Leo’s character was not likeable at all and asked the writer if he could change it.

Eventually, Prognosis: Negative did not come to fruition because Larry thought about making the changes but ultimately decided against it.
