The bombshell documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning produced by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs industry rival, 50 Cent contains some wild claims, including one that the imprisoned singer once slapped his mother.
In one clip of the Netflix docu-series, the Bad Boy Records co-founder Kirk Burrows stated that he had witnessed the I’ll Be Missing You singer lose his temper and raise his hand on his mother, among other shocking statements.
In a recent address to Deadline, the 85-year-old revealed, “The allegations stated by Mr. Kirk Burrows that my son slapped me while we were conversing after the tragic City College events on December 28, 1991, are inaccurate and patently false.”
Janice continued, “For him to use this tragedy and incorporate fake narratives to further his prior failed and current attempt to gain what was never his, Bad Boy Records is wrong, outrageous and past offensive.”
The matriarch also slammed the entire series as a whole, for being intentionally misleading and adding that she believes it was created to further harm the reputation of the family.
Notably, Janice also clarified that she was not an abusive parent and raised Sean with love and hard work, adding that he has also been a dutiful son to her.
Sean Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in prison, which is four years and two months and a $500,000 fine.
