Pete Davidson drew stares after making a darkly comic statement during his outing at the 30th Annual Webby Awards in New York City.
The comedian, who received the Special Achievement Award from MGK, told the audience, “Thanks, I’m still dead inside.”
The remark came as buzz continues about issues with his partner Elsie Hewitt, shortly after the couple welcomed baby Scottie Rose.
Sources claimed the pair have been facing difficulties since becoming parents, with insiders alleging their relationship dynamic shifted after Hewitt’s unplanned pregnancy.
Meanwhile, he has publicly praised fatherhood and described “Dad life” as “f***ing awesome,” however, the insiders suggested the comedian may be struggling behind the scenes.
Despite ongoing issues, the reports revealed that neither Davidson nor Hewitt have fully walked away from the relationship, as both are said to want a stable family life for their child.
On top of his personal struggles, Davidson also faced backlash with daring jokes at a recent comedy roast, cracking jokes about Charlie Kirk and Kanye West.
