Daniel Craig attends Metallica concert during break from filming

Former James Bond star Daniel Craig was spotted enjoying a night out at Metallica’s concert in Athens, Greece, during a break from filming his upcoming movie project in the city.

The actor attended the band’s M72 World Tour performance at the Olympic Stadium, where thousands of fans gathered for the sold-out show. 

Photos and videos shared online showed Craig smiling with concertgoers and blending into the crowd as he watched the legendary heavy metal band perform.

Fans were surprised to see the Hollywood star embracing thrash metal, a genre far removed from the sophisticated image he portrayed during his years as James Bond. 

According to Daily Mail, social media users quickly reacted to the sighting, with many praising the actor for enjoying the concert like any other fan.

Craig is currently in Greece filming director Damien Chazelle’s upcoming prison drama. 

Moreover, reports suggest production has been taking place across Athens and other parts of Greece since earlier this year.

The actor has largely stayed away from the spotlight following his departure from the James Bond franchise after 2021’s No Time to Die. 

However, his appearance at the Metallica concert offered fans a rare glimpse into his personal interests away from movie sets and red carpets.

Videos circulating online also showed Craig interacting warmly with fans before leaving the venue after the concert ended.
