George Clooney receives shocking surprise from wife Amal on 65th birthday
Amal Clooney, who tied the knot with George in September 2014, gives special birthday gift to her husband
George Clooney recently received the biggest surprise of his life from his stunning lawyer wife Amal.
Although the Jay Kelly actor is cautious of surprises at this stage of his life, Amal revealed that she “just surprised him on his birthday, actually with a number of things,” while speaking to British Vogue at the King's Trust 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 11.
George, who just turned 65 on May 6, replied, “Yeah, she had friends of mine show up posing,” before Amal added, “Posing as waiters.”
However, the Ocean’s Eleven actor quipped, “It’s a dangerous thing to surprise someone when they turn 65 because you could drop.”
“You know, that could be the end of you, so you have to be very careful when you surprise people,” he jokingly said.
When asked how he took the surprise, the actor responded, “Yeah, well I’m still standing, barely.”
