Cynthia Erivo reassures her fans amid rumors

Cynthia Erivo, who only wore one colour during the press tour of her movie, Wicked has now made fans speculate that she might have deleted that colour from her life.

The lead star, who is now busy promoting the sequel of the movie, Wicked: For Good was not seen wearing green at all unlike last year.

During the last year's promotions, in 2024, the 38-year-old only sported green outfits to represent her green character, Elphaba.

However, this year, calling it an "evolution of her character”, the songwriter avoided wearing green at all.

The fans speculated that she might never wear that colour again and must have thrown every piece of green out from her wardrobe.

In a candid conversation with Today, she stated, “I haven't retired it completely, I just haven't worn it as much this time around.”

She also reassured the die-hard fans, who loves seeing her in green, “"This isn't the last time you'll see green on me, It's actually one of my favorite colors, but it wasn't right for this time around.”

The Harriet star has also previously revealed that her team and she only select those clothes, which can convey the perfect message and makes her feel good when she wears them despite how they look.
