The Bloodline singer took to her Instagram stories to share with fans that she had fallen ill, shortly after the English actress also skipped interviews and premieres of the beloved musical.

Beside a snap from her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the we can’t be friends (wait for your love) hitmaker added the caption “moments before covid,” likely indicating that she had tested positive for the disease.

Meanwhile Cynthia had previously sparked concern after revealing that she had lost her voice, and has spoked in a hoarse voice in interviews since.

Ariana’s recent diagnosis will also be the reason for her opting out of an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, but her counterpart is still set to arrive.

The Victorious actress’s unfortunate diagnosis is one of the many concerning incidences that have taken place during the Wicked sequel’s press tour.

Notably, the 32-year-old’s plane faced safety issues before the musical’s premiere in Brazil, and the beloved singer was harassed by a fan in Singapore.
