‘Friends’ spinoff ‘Joey’ finale released from vault

The world renowned sitcom Friends had a spinoff for one of the franchise’s beloved characters, Matt Leblanc’s Joey, which has finally come to an end.

In a surprising move, the show that was pulled from television after two seasons due to low ratings, Joey, has now gotten its final eight episodes.

The episodes leading up to the finale, as well as the finale are free and available for streaming on YouTube.

In a shock move by the network that first aired the show in 2004, the remaining eight episodes have slowly been streamed out since the beginning of this year, and the last episode has now also been uploaded for those interested in completing the series.

The premise of the series revolves around the Italian character moving to Los Angeles, Hollywood to pursue his acting dreams, a canon from Friends, but is forced to reunite with his sister Gina (played Drea de Matteo) and moves in with his nephew Michael ( played by Paulo Costanzo).

Notably, Joey initially had good ratings and viewership at the beginning of the series that eventually declined, and the spinoff had to be canceled even after an attempt at re-airing.
