Ethan Slater goes all out for Ariana Grande’s 'Wicked' performance

Ethan Slater couldn’t contain his excitement over girlfriend Ariana Grande’s star turn in the much-anticipated Wicked: For Good.

Speaking to Extra at the New York City premiere of the second installment, he gushed: “Ariana’s performance is out of this world and Cynthia [Erivo]’s performance is unbelievable.”

The 33-year-old actor didn’t stop there, showering praise on the film’s ensemble cast. 

These Untold Secrets star praised Johnny Bailey’s charm and described the experience of working closely with Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, and Marissa Bode throughout the film as amazing.

Furthermore, he also shared insight into Grande’s friendship with co-star Erivo, who plays Elphaba Thropp.

“They really communicate off camera even more than on camera. It’s beautiful to witness, the way they help each other through,” he added.

Fans first learned of Slater and the 32-year-old actress’s romance in July 2023.

The Side to Side hitmaker has since spoken fondly about her relationship, telling mutual friend Sean Hayes: “Yes, he loves you so much.” 

It's worth noting that the couple recently turned heads at the Wicked: For Good London premiere, with the songstress sharing a carousel of snaps including Slater.

For those unfamiliar, the highly anticipated sequel, Wicked: For Good hits cinemas on November 21.
