After the success of Barbie starring Margot Robbie, the world of plastic dolls is set to get an immersive experience.
The pink world of playing dolls will get a vibrant delight in London.
As per Deadline, Secret Cinema and TodayTix are set to collaborate with Barbie owner Mattel and Warner Bros.
The project is being called Barbie in Barbieland which will open next summer for eight weeks.
It has been reported that an agreement is in its final staged between all parties.
The project will be similar to the recent Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical experience.
“We’re beyond excited to bring Greta Gerwig’s brilliant Barbie The Movie, inspired by Mattel’s Barbie brand to life in a way that only Secret Cinema can,” said Merritt Baer, Artistic Director of Secret Cinema and co-founder of TodayTix.
“In collaboration with Mattel and Warner Bros., we’re inviting audiences to step through the iconic pink doors of BarbieLand – to sing, dance and celebrate together.”
It will be like a Barbie themed carnival which will include performances, sets and even pink themed foods and drinks.
The promo has been released which features the sylbolic pink “B” taking over London as it hovers over the Tower Bridge.
