Now You See Me 3 received widespread commercial success, dominating national and global rankings.

According to Deadline, the follow-up film opened with an impressive $75.5 million globally, marking a strong return nearly a decade after the last installment.

The movie performed especially overseas, following revenue of China reported as $19.2 million, South Korea ($3.9M), France ($3.5M) and the U.K. ($3.2M).

Overall, the film quickly positioned itself as one of the year’s commercial winners with a budget of $90 million.

The sequel reunited Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco, along with new faces under the direction of Ruben Fleischer.

Franco, who reprised his role as Jack Wilder, spoke to People, admitting the year-long promotional and filming schedule had left him exhausted as an introvert.

“We’re getting through this week of press, and then I will disappear for a while.”

Meanwhile, director Ruben Fleischer already teased fans with another long-awaited return of Zombieland 3.

In an interview with Deadline, he confirmed initial talks keeping with the franchise’s pattern of “one every ten years”.

“I’m hoping we’ll do a Zombieland 3 in 2029,” he noted that the cast had expressed interest after finishing Zombieland: Double Tap in 2019.

Notably, Now You See Me 3 global spot as No. 1, the possibility of another Zombieland chapter on the horizon and Fleischer’s cinematic magic is enjoying a strong resurgence.
