Jesse Eisenberg is reflecting on whether his son is expected to get inspired by his titular role in the Now You See Me franchise, or even if he has watched any of the sequel movies.

At the New York City premiere of the third installment in the franchise, the actor and director spoke to PEOPLE about his 8-year-old son, Banner, and his intentions for the sequel.

When asked if Banner will be watching Now You See Me: Now You Don't soon, Jesse said, "Yeah, my kid is seeing Now You See Me: Now You Don't in about an hour, and then I think we're going to go backwards.”

Furthermore, the Oscar-nominated star shared that he hopes some of his character’s spirit and morale seep into his son.

However, Jesse added, "I mean, you know, I pray every day that my child is more like my wife than me."

The Now You See Me actor, Jesse, and his wife, Anna Strout, welcomed their son in 2017.

In the franchise, Jesse plays J. Daniel Atlas, a brilliant illusionist and the charismatic leader of the Four Horsemen, a team of magicians who pull off mind-bending heists.

Jesse’s sharp delivery and magnetic confidence make Atlas both captivating and unpredictable, blurring the line between trick and truth.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t hits theatres on November 14.
