Glen Powell has debuted his new haircut, which has given him all the confidence to serve looks while literally serving in the army in his latest Saturday Night Live skit.
The Top Gun: Maverick actor was joined by his group of sergeants (comprised of Bowen Yang and Sarah Sherman) welcoming a new soldier by telling him his haircut needs to change.
Since the newbie (played by Andrew Dismukes) had just been transferred to a top secret division, called the Slay Division of the U.S. Military, he must get a bob.
Glen then revealed that the chic cut is an innovative intimidation tactic to which the Wicked actor added “A buzz cut says ‘get the guns’ but a bob says ‘get the manager.’”
The division doesn’t kill their enemies, but instead gags them with blunt force, later revealing that their mission was to serve and protect, “but mostly serve.”
Bowen then spots a deceiving diva, who has bangs, which brings forth the rival division, the bang battalion.
The two groups then attempt to persuade the new soldier to join them after shocasing their worth with a battle of serving.
Andrew eventually revealing his own bob and the winnning team's leader, Glen then informs him that they were being deployed to ZARA the next day.
No, Glen and Sydney have never dated, however they did turn up the chemistry to promote their rom-com Anyone But You.
