Blake Lively, who is known for her role in It Ends With Us, remained victorious in another legal case while her Justin Baldoni suit continues to make the headlines.
The 38-year-old actress was named in another case after she accused Jed Wallace of being involved in a smear campaign.
The PR firm Street Relations Inc. and its owner Jed filed a case against the actress in Texas earlier this year in February.
It was reported by Daily Mail that the “two separate cases were each dismissed due to jurisdiction,” as it was unclear whether “Texas was the proper venue.”
The source noted that there is a difference between the two situations as “Blake largely blames Jed for the alleged smear campaign.”
It was also revealed that the plaintiff is no longer associated with the “suit brought” forth by the Gossip Girl alum.
This victory will seemingly strengthen the Hollywood A-list star’s case as the hearing is scheduled for next year, March 2026.
Blake took her complaint to the court in December 2024, accusing the It Ends With Us director Justin of sexual harassment and smear campaign against her.
The movie came out few months earlier in August 2024.
Although the filmmaker filed a retaliatory suit against the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds, it was dismissed by the judge due to lack of evidence.
