Actress-producer Blake Lively has revealed the financial losses she allegedly suffered from the film It Ends With Us.
In legal filings presented this week, her attorneys put the figure at a staggering $161 million.
The Age of Adaline star argues she was the target of a “smear campaign” by the film’s star-director Justin Baldoni and associated producers.
The lawsuit, initially filed in 2024, claims the fallout affected her acting and producing career, endorsements, and her businesses, including Betty Buzz and Betty Booze.
Here is a breakdown of the claim worth 161M filed by her attorney:
Around $50 million+ for acting/producing earnings, $49 million tied to her beauty brand, $22 million linked to beverage ventures, and $34 million in reputational damage from receiving about 65 million negative social-media impressions.
The matter is due in court in March next year. The defendants also include producer Jamey Heath and publicists tied to the project.
Until then, the actress's public image and future projects hang in the balance, a reminder of how high the stakes can be when Hollywood meets business and backlash.
For those unversed, Lively initiated the legal battle with Baldoni in December 2024 by filing a complaint in the California Civil Rights Department, accusing him of sexual harassment during the shoot of It Ends with Us.
Previously, federal Judge Lewis Liman shut down Justin Baldoni’s $400M counterclaim against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for invasion of privacy, civil extortion, and defamation.
